EXPERIENCE

Bérangère Rivals has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1998.

She co-founded Lamoure Rivals with Lionel Lamoure, after 20 years of shared experience and 15 years partnering in a firm dedicated to corporate restructuring working in exclusive partnership with Allen & Overy.

Bérangère advises in all aspects of the amicable and judicial phases of managing distressed companies, on behalf of debtor companies, shareholders, investment funds, prospective buyers and creditors (financial institutions, suppliers and co-contractors).

Over the last 20 years, she has been involved in many of the major restructuring and insolvency cases in France.

In particular, she has furthered her expertise in complex litigation, predominantly as regards restructuring.

Bérangère is also recognized as one of the “Best Lawyers” in the category of “Insolvency and Reorganization Law” in the Best Lawyers 2025 ranking in France.

DISTINCTIONS

Recognized for her practice, especially in restructuring-related litigation, Bérangère is once again ranked as a “Leading Partner” in the 2025 edition of the Legal 500 EMEA – Insolvency guide.

She joined the 2025 rankings of the first edition of the Chambers and Partners- France guide, for her practice in Restructuring/Insolvency.
