Lionel Lamoure

EXPERIENCE

Lionel Lamoure co-founded Lamoure Rivals in 2023 with Bérangère Rivals, after 20 years of shared experience and 15 years partnering in a firm dedicated to corporate restructuring working in exclusive partnership with Allen & Overy.

Lionel’s practice focuses on advising companies, shareholders, financial investors and buyers in crisis situations. He is involved in both preventative and insolvency procedures. In particular, he has developed considerable expertise in restructuring underperforming LBOs and distressed M&A.

He also advises in respect of M&A and PE in connection with the acquisition or sale of companies or groups in good standing, on behalf of industrial manufacturers or investment funds.

DISTINCTIONS

Recognized for his practice, Lionel is once again ranked as a “Leading Partner” in the 2025 edition of the Legal 500 EMEA – Insolvency guide.

He joined the 2025 rankings of the first edition of the Chambers and Partners- France guide, for his practice in Restructuring/Insolvency.

Lionel has been recognized as leading partner notably for the practices of “Distressed M&A” and “Distressed LBO” and ranked as major player (Incontournable) by Leaders League (Décideurs) in the guide France 2025 Strategy Reorganization and Restructuring and the guide France 2024 Mergers & Acquisitions.
